I'm quite glad that I live in a society that values children in this
way, and recognises their importance by helping people to have them.

I am also glad that our national health service recognises that children
are part of individual and social well-being, and that alongside its
mission to improve health by tackling illness and its causes, it also
works to promote well-being by recognising the significance of wider
human needs.

Yes; and when you see couples who desperately need to have children but
can't have them you realise that this isn't a vanity wish, it's
destructive and it ruins their lives. It's *not* less serious than
breaking an arm or having arthritis. I've seen it quite close to. And
I'm glad that the NHS will help such people.

NHS deals in more than just broken bones the idea is the health of the
nation which includes wellbeing.
