From: Clark Smith on 7 Mar 2010 16:14 I have a few video files with soundtracks that are a bit difficult to hear - that is, when playing them I have to crank the settings in my sound board to their maximum settings, if I am to hear the soundtracks at all. On the other hand, for some other videos the problem is (almost) the opposite - the sound is loud even when the settings in my sound board are on the lower side. Is there a simple way to harmonize the level in soundtrack volume across two different video files? By "simple" I mean a command such that one feeds one or more video files to it, and the levels in the soundtracks are harmonized as a result. Failing this, is there a simple way to increase the sound level in a given video file? "Simple", again, would be for a single command applied to the video file to do the trick.
