Would my partner go for them? World of Goo is a construction type game where you build dynamic towers out of somewhat rigid blobs of goo. 4/5 Aquaria is an exploration-based underwater fantasy game with an interesting backstory and boss fights. 4/5 Gish is a platformer of sorts, where your character is a blob of tar and you get from one end of a puzzly level to the other using your sticky/slidy/jumpy qualities. 4/5 Lugaru appears to be an odd combat-RPGish thing starring anthropomorphic bunnies. I've only played the tutorial, but I wasn't impressed. Penumbra I don't know yet, still downloading. Will certainly go and buy them now.

It doesn't say how long the promo has been going for, but they could easily be earning more during this period than during an equivalent non-promo period.

Penumbra is a rather ace first-person horror game, I'm liking it a lot. Allow an extra $5 for picking up the sequal and expansion pack from frictionalgames.com. Play hints: don't jump in the crate with the three rocks, you can't get out again! Also, the "artifacts" are save points - this isn't made clear in the game, only when you give up and reload due to getting stuck in a box! Cheers - JAimie -- Thank you for your input. Now, if you have something substantive to bring to the discussion, kindly do. Otherwise, isn't there an eternal flamefest that would peter out if you won't keep feeding it? -- Cosmin Corbea, r.a.b
