From: Kevin on 20 Jan 2007 18:02 No ISA on this server. I was upgrading/patching before installing ISA when the original issue started. Dell's support suggestions pushed the problem further causing the event id errors. Originally they suspected some conflict between trend micro firewall and sbs firewall. I walked through the problem with trend. We disabled the trend firewall and eliminated trend as a suspect with this problem. RRAS, IIS and/or GPO settings are the most likely cause for my problems. At the time I quit trying to fix the event errors the DELL support engineers didn't think the event errors would prevent the server from working and told me to ignore them. I backup the server every night to a external hard drive, I also do a tape backup of the external drive once a week. Unfortunately the event issues are 3 or 4 months old and I don't think my archive go back that far. Originally I considered just installing ISA over the problem hoping to correct the errors. If you google my event id errors you will see quite a few people with the same problem, I have yet to see a definitive answer.
