If need be, refer them to http://www.hyperelliptic.org/tanja/conf/ECC08/slides/Antoine-Joux.pdf page 3, last two lines beginning with Decryption : Make sure you can actually _do_ it, not prove you can do it. With Obama in office, there should be no fear of goverment hit teams and secret jails. Enrico

The issue was NSA contact. The CIA now has a contact page but the NSA page is the same as last time I checked. And are you freaking naive? No fear of government? You Usenet people are now my best protection. God help me. The money it'd take to make this disappear increases rapidly as time goes by, though it's still possible I'd think. Not like many of you'd be missed I don't think. Or even if you were, who could do anything about it in your circles? Lots of crying and conspiracy charges, but so what? James Harris

That wasn't there under Bush. Maybe the CIA didn't even have computers until Omaba came to power in 2009? > But what would I tell them? Evil math people are hiding important > research that could endanger world security? Absolutely. Just tell them the truth about the evil math people. Many CIA people have never been math majors and thus will be glad to hear how evil the math people really are. Just make sure to tell the CIA about all the physical abuse that you have received from the math people and their evil posts to sci.math. Do you still have the bruises that you had received from their evil posts? At the very least, the CIA will forbid these evil math people from expressing their opinions about math in sci.math. > The NSA would be better but it looks like they have the same contact > page they had under Bush. Can you venture a guess why this is the case? > Tweak Obama's administration to get them to be nicer like the CIA. At > least with them I could beat up on math people talking to math > people. Don't you think that these math people deserve a good beating? They think that just because they are intelligent, they can ignore math results from people with less evolved brains. > Good link though. Who knows? I may need it someday. Nice to know > they finally put something like that up. Sure. Next time you want to beat up people, just press that magic link.

So, the decryption is trivial. > Make sure you can actually _do_ it, not prove you can do it. > With Obama in office, there should be no fear of goverment > hit teams and secret jails. > > Enrico
