Downloads go to the Desktop in Tiger... The only Downloads folder I have is the one I created, and I could have chosen any name. Safari's Downloads window is the default way to find a downloaded item. You click the magnifying glass.

That is not the window I wanted, my downloads are not set to go there. But thank you for posting this because it reminds me to do some clerical work on my machine and set downloads to go there (instead of desktop) and get used to fundamentally better habits. -- dorayme |
