For quite a long time, I had the meaning of blonde and brunette
completely reversed. No one corrected me, perhaps there were not
all that many situations where it would have been obvious.

"Up" and "Down" are relative terms...so "upload" and "download" are
_naturally_ relative as well, notwithstanding the Industry's terminology
tradition (i.e., jargon).

(Still, I'd like to know how long you've been secretly working for Apple and
writing all of its OS updates. ;p ;b )
