Politics were not ever discussed to this point. I am neither a communist nor a liberal from a political standpoint, but that would be none of your business. I should have been clearer because you seem to have misunderstood. TBird is the best for me. It is not, "good enough", it is better for me than Gmail, and anything else I've tried. It is the best for me. If it is not the best for you, then I am glad you found a better option, please do not impose your opinion on me. -- HK

Okay, first you make an insane statement like Gmail is the best. Not in your opinion, but just a flat statement. If you would know what is best for everyone else, then that my communist Bottoms is communism. "Just don't think, I know what's best for everyone". Not your words, but most certainly your message here. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Then you make a completely false statement like "As you know, mail servers host the mail - all are webmail". And when called on it, you deflect your inaccurate statement with, 'never mind what I said, my point is still valid'. Again, not your words, but your message is clear. Look, I get that people make inaccurate statements sometimes. We get involved in these discussions and get derailed because of details that have no bearing on the discussion at hand, Kinda like where this discussion has gone. You are absolutely correct in your assertion that Gmail is best for you. It is not the best email client for me. At least not at this point. So please do not cast your assertions on me, you have no right! -- HK

Niether do I. I also do not believe in one size fits all, or universal fit. Better for an individual moves the 'line' one way or the other. The 'line' is defined by the requirements of the user, not by the requirements you choose to evaluate by. -- HK

Okay, so then it's your opinion that Gmail is the best? > These opinions help enrich the field of choice...why do you offer yours? Same reason. I would respectfully ask that if you are offering opinion, please state it as such. Otherwise you are attempting to impose what can only be opinion on others, and in my opinion that is just bad form. Either way, do as you choose, I won't waste more any time on this. -- HK |
