Last time I got one of these, Parallels bought out a chargeable upgrade within two weeks, as did Fusion in a similar promotion - I got disgruntled with that, and now use VirtualBox. The rest I can't see a use for. -- Andy Hewitt <http://web.me.com/andrewhewitt1/>

I posted a slightly more wordy version of whatyou said elsewhere in this thread, namely: --- But didn't they do it in an odd way? They've taken the "the first <n> people will also receive product <x>" approach, rather than "if <n> people buy the bundle then everyone also gets product <x>" approach. Given that DVDremaster Pro was the 'product <x>' in the example above, and given that they've now passed <n>, I wouldn't buy this bundle now. --- Jim -- "Microsoft admitted its Vista operating system was a 'less good product' in what IT experts have described as the most ambitious understatement since the captain of the Titanic reported some slightly damp tablecloths." http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/

I quite like the > effect. So much so that I got photomatix ... It's just a technological gimmick, one that adds nothing of aesthetic value. It's the photographic equivalent of turning up all the bass and treble controls and turning on all the sound "enhancer" switches on your stereo, and thinking that it makes the music sound better. It's like being in the presence of someone who can't just tell a story, but has to embellish and exaggerate it. It might be quite striking at first, but gets tiring very quickly. I happened to be in a newsagent the other day, and couldn't believe my eyes - I saw a photo magazine suggesting that people take HDR *portraits*. The examples printed in the magazine were predictably horrific. Daniele

This way doesn't seem quite the same :( It discourages people from buying beyond a certain point. Weird.
