Pah. Presumably you had bracketed copies anyway of all your pictures in order to do this. I am having the most photographic fun I've had for ages, with a new camera I got recently. I tried so hard, but I really couldn't get on with a DSLR - horrible bulky shape, small dim viewfinder with way too much confusing information in it, hard to use, etc. So now I have a 1970s Pentax (an ME Super) that only cost me a few pounds. It's smaller, nicer to hold, better to look through, easier to use. And it's compatible with all the lenses I already had with the DSLR. I get films developed for 1, and scan the negatives into Aperture. It's quite a nice way to do things. Daniele

I recently bought an Olympus E-P1 and have been having great fun with that (I can totally recommend it - compact, light and very capable). In doing some reading around it I realised just how cheaply the old OM hardware is selling nowadays, so I have equipped myself with some nice OM Zuiko lenses that I can use on the E-P1 (obviously, with an adapter). For nostalgia's sake I also bought an OM-10 (I had one when I was a student) and an OM-1N (probably the ultimate iconic Olympus camera), and have been renewing my enjoyment of completely manual photography. Huge fun for not much money. Ian. -- Ian Piper Author of "Learn Xcode Tools for Mac OS X and iPhone Development", Apress, December 2009 Learn more here: http://learnxcodebook.com/ --

I have - well, my girlfriend has - a an Olympus PEN EE. That's a gorgeous little camera. Everyone looks glamourous with a PEN. Do the EP models have the same effect? Daniele

I would like to get hold of a Olympus PEN EE or Olympus 35 RD, but these seem to sell for as much as, if not more than, the OM models. I'd also like to check out the PEN FT, but they are like hen's teeth.
