Lets "friends" see each others locations. Trivial to turn off on the phone though. See also "Locatorz" www.locatorz.co.uk but again, trivial to turn off on the phone. Gordon

Uses the timing signals between base stations. Not as accurate as GPS but more often than not GPS is sodded up inside buildings. Accuracy is generally around 2 to 3 hundred metres sufficient for some applications..... -- Tony Sayer
