Whatever! The Government though, seems to be already preparing for
Internet connectivity
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/06/22/aus_cybercrime_report/
"Security Essentials" is available "Free" from Microsoft for XP and
above (as good as there is avaiable, Malware protection FREE)
http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
Fact is without effective protection Super Broadband for Grandma, Mum,
Dad, Kids, etc, can result in Australia being blocked as is Brazil etc
for malicous behaviour.

The gummint has prepared for nothing except kickbacks from Microsoft for
stepping up its effort to force MS products onto everyone.

Cheese and chalk. One is victim, other is perpetrator.
And what are the IP numbers allocated to Brazil? I will see what my
mailer says about the effectiveness of this "blockade".

I'm currently trying to plow through the report. So far it seems to be
almost entirely about creating more bureacracy in the recommendatins, aka
pushing the big brother theme.
