Thirty or so years ago, my wife was flying[*] back from her parents
into LaGuardia. She got to talking with the man in the adjacent seat
and found that he too was going to Poughkeepsie. She mentioned that I
worked for IBM and he replied that he worked for the CIA. Everyone
within earshot turned around and looked at them.

[*] Faviorte bumper sticker; "I've been in a bad mood since the house

Like I said earlier, I used to drive buy it every day on my way to
work. I ate there several times, though never diner in the main
restaurant.

NECI didn't have the reputation that the Escoffier room at the CIA
had. http://www.ciachef.edu/restaurants/default.asp I'm not a fan of
Europeon food, so never went there either.
