Nope, I really don't think most of those people would find it that
interesting.

Apple Stores open from time to time in lots of different cities, should
there really be a post every time, for the benefit of relatives of
people who live there?

If the store were opening in Redmond, that would be newsworthy, due to
the juxtaposition with Microsoft HQ.

Guess what? I'm one of those people, and you're wrong.

I said "most" not "all", so unless you've done a survey, I don't think
you can declare me right or wrong.

Why would someone care what kind of stores are in the place where their
relatives live? And if you're planning a trip there, why would you
care, unless you don't have one of the stores where you live?

It just seems to me that you're rationalizing.

Why are Apple Stores that important, anyway? Sure, they're cool, but
hardly necessary. There are generic electronic and computer stores that
sell Apple products (there's a decent Apple section at MicroCenter), and
you can also buy them online.

i always thought that it was very odd that there were so few Apple
Stores around the country...
Maybe they will soon be as ubiquitous as Safeways...???
And not just Apple Stores; Properly speaking,
But so few Apple Dealers & Service Centers.
Esp. Service Centers...
That Really Really struck me as crazy.

Well, as i was mentioning in the other post,
Although we're going more & more towards cybernetic shopping and even
service--
It's nice to have an Authorized ( Actual ) Apple Service Center &
Dealership somewhere in The vicinity, and Apply is VERY Stingy with
it's Apple Stores and Service Centers...
It has always struck me as VERY CRAZY that many Big Retail Outlets
that sell computers and have viable service centers DO NOT Service
Apple Computers...???
What is it with that...?
i have heard that the reason is that Apple has very high standards for
allowing technicians to tinker with their computers, But does that
really sound viable...???
Are Apple computers really that much more technologically superior to
All other brands that Apple will only allow technicians with An IQ 40
points higher than a normal computer technician to work on them...???

???
