That's partly down to MacSoup. Unison does not display Monaco 9 or 10
using anti-aliasing, though does from 11pts upwards. I still prefer the
look of DejaVu Sans Mono over Monaco at 12pts.

Bit of a side-step, but I recently found
<http://www.hilpers.org/comp-sys-mac/> which has UCSM mirrored on t'web (no
posting obviously). Threaded(?) though, as opposed to GG's "newest post
first" mentality.

I can see why you might; for me, the best size for Monaco is 10, at
which size it looks balanced and eminently readable. Any larger, and for
me it starts to look awkward. And the anti-aliasing at 10 pt looks just
fine.

But all this is totally personal.
