From: OJ on 5 Apr 2010 10:25 Im having a couple of problems with Skype on my new Nokia 2730 connected to Three PAYG. Is anyone using this combination successfully? 1) I cannot find how to persuade Skype to start up and connect when the phone is switched on. 2) I can start the Skype application manually but, an hour or so after minimising the application it drops the connection with Skype and I cannot then receive any incoming Skype calls. There is nothing on the home screen to say if Skype is connected or not which doesn't help. Am I doing something stupid or is this how the Nokia works. (Im moving from a S2 Skypephone, mainly for the Nokia calendar functions, so Im used to Skype just being there and working whenever the phone is switched on.) Thanks OJ

If you do get your Skype Nokia app to work regularly, something to play with is Free Ring2Skype which gives you a landline number and 3 digit extension for people to dial to get to your Skype http://www.ring2skype.com/ They have two UK STDs, London and Manchester, so if you wanted you could use it to fool people in to thinking you are in those places. Or hundreds of places abroad Steve Terry -- Get a free Three 3pay Sim with 2 bonus after 10 top up http://freeagent.three.co.uk/stand/view/id/5276

I am getting "we can not connect your call right now please try later" whether I have Skypephone S2 connected to Skype at the same time as PC Skype, or I log S2 off -:( divoch
