From: Simon on 8 Apr 2010 02:36 Hi, I can't this to work, either using Outlook which gives an error about the server being unavailable, or from within OWA and setting it from there. Where can I troubleshoot this please. SBS 2008 Standard. Exchange 2007 SP2 Thanks Simon

There is a specific test for Out Of Office (but it requires an empty inbox, so setup a test account). 2. Secondly, the HTTPS URL that Outlook uses for retrieving OOF is provided by the autodiscover service. If the OOFUrl provided by autodiscover is not valid, OOF will fail. At www.testexchangeconnectivity.com, there is another test available for autodiscover, that you can also try. If you have access to the affected client computer, Outlook 2007 has a builtin "Test E-Mail Autoconfiguration" tool. To access it, hold down the right Ctrl key on the keyboard while right-clicking the Outlook icon in the notification area and then click Test E-Mail Autoconfiguration. You can read about this and troubleshooting autodiscover on the SBS Blog below. http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2010/01/05/troubleshooting-certificate-mismatch-warnings-in-outlook-2007-clients-on-small-business-server-2008.aspx 3. What is the OOF URL? It should be something like https://mail.domain.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx Try to browse that URL in IE. Do you get an error or does it bring up the asmx page? -- Chris Puckett This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
