From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 31 Mar 2010 17:07 Any error messages? Is she scanning outbound mail with a virus scanner? FWIW, setting all contacts to use RTF is not a good idea. Let Outlook decide is ok, but its better use ical format. See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/alwaysrtf.asp for problems caused by sending RTF to internet addresses. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Do you sync your mailbox with a smartphone or pda? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=39473 "frank" <user(a)msgroups.net/> wrote in message news:#T#RYhO0KHA.264(a)TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > sorry for the follow up questions. The "Let Outlook decide" setting means that the main setting in Tools>Options>Mail Format will be used. The per-contact setting overrides the main setting. If the per-contact value fails, then you have something affecting the message after it leaves Outlook. This can be either Exchange, if you use that, an email scanner looking at outgoing messages, the recipient's mail server, or a scanner on the recipient's PC looking at incoming messages. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
