From: Lobster on 21 May 2010 03:07 I need to buy a new handset to replace a faulty one being used on a contract, therefore an important requirement is that the handset should be unlocked (especially because I will be changing airtime providers soon to take advantage of another cashback deal). I believe CPW don't lock their phones - is that right, or does it only apply to their contract phones? I was hoping to buy a PAYG handset from them on the basis that it would be unlocked - am I right? If not where's a good source of unlocked handsets (the current faulty one was new from ebay, but developed a problem after about 9 months :-( so would rather avoid that again...) Thanks David

Nope, seems to apply to their PAYG handsets too. You will have to purchase a sim whether you like it or not with typically 10 credit for one network or other though. Tim
