The invoice was fairly easy, but the ESC was tricky. Acrobat Reader 6 wouldn't save either of them. PDFView picked up locked functions in the ESC, eg it wasn't possible to change the text from blue to black, so I guess the results are going to depend on what's locked in the original, and maybe some pages and/or parts have locks and some don't? I have a feeling that my former employers will simply print the file and send the hand-completed result through the post. One section in their Finance Department is still using a dial-up modem. Wouldn't be surprised if they are running Kermit as well :-( I might try Irfanview for comparison. Or maybe the sensible thing would be to try it in PDFXView, if it works, ok, if not, fill it in manually and scan the results.
