To find out about the nagware, I installed version 7.0.302 of ZAPro on a standalone computer. During installation there was an option to choose for: - Trial ZoneAlarm Security Suite (15 days trial) - No Thanks (= no trial) I chose for the "No Thanks" option after which the usual installation of ZAFree proceeded. After the installation I did several restarts of the PC. No further nagging could be observed. The picture of ZoneAlarm in the Taskbar has changed, as shown on the website of ZoneLabs. After 4 of 5 restarts without problems, I did a "clean" uninstallation of ZoneAlarm (Free). I finally removed one folder of Zone Labs from the Program Files and that completed the removal of ZAFree from the PC. -- Fred Wening (NL)

Thank you. :) :) :) I'll show the current version on PL2007. That's subject to change IF the group wants to make a change due to the bloatware that's been added. 28 people voted for the current version (per the program's description during the selection process). ISTM at least 15 people need to express a preference for changing to an older version to warrant making a change. To date only 3 people have done that. IMO that does not bode well for the future. One down already (it lasted about a week), one to go. . . <http://www.fnprg.com/softcat/dl/softcat_v2_setup.exe> <http://www.fnprg.net/softcat/dl/softcat_setup.exe> *DEAD It sure would be nice to have another link. Anyone?
