Looks like either the http stopped working where ftp is fine or my system put an http in front of the ftp to cause it to fail. I find it works better than YaST2 then if you can not find what you are looking for you can always use cnf from konsole. i use for packman http://packman.mirrors.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/11.2
