I have a EPSON Stylus SX100 printer/scanner. The scanner works fine with
the iscan driver, but the printer, after the lust upgrade for cups and
ghostscript doesn't wowrk. I get the next message:

"/usr/libs/cups/filter/pstoraster failed"

Any idea?

I had a similar problem. I uninstalled the printer and then
installed it again. This fixed the problem.

I googled, and don't find any answer to my problem

Is it possible that you googled for exactly the same string that you
listed, i.e., with a typo in the path? A search for

"/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoraster failed" +"Epson Stylus"

returns a lot of results.

I blacklisted the usblp module, and CUPS-1.4.2 can install the printer,
but it prints all page black
