From: Roberto H. on 6 Oct 2009 11:23 I have a virtual machine with windows XP in that machine the renew proces with certmgr.msc works good, but I can not transfer the certificate from the host machine with windows 2008 to the Windows XP machine because the certificate can not export the private key. The certificate was emited from another server with Small Busines Server 2003. Can I install the same certificate in other machine with the private key ? Thanks "Roberto H." wrote: > I have a expired certificate, I want to renew it, I use the certmgr.msc to > renew but an error ocurrs 'RPC server is not available' 'no se pudo enviar la > solicitud de certificado a la entidad de certificación' > > how can I solve the problem. > > one idea is using the web 'https://ryt/certsrv/' > ryt is the server name > but how can I renew a certificate using web?. > > Thanks

From: Roberto H. on 6 Oct 2009 11:41 I did it, but is not the correct solution because now I have to sign all my macros in Excel and compile again all my programs signed whit that certificate. I have a virtual machine with windows XP in that machine the renew proces with certmgr.msc works good, but I can not transfer the certificate from the host machine with windows 2008 to the Windows XP machine because the certificate can not export the private key.
