New laptop hard drive cranky.
I am servicing an HP dv2125nr notebook computer. The problem was that it came up with a blue screen while booting and said, "unmountable_boot_volume." I took the drive out and mounted it in my desktop pc via the on board SATA controller. I booted to my system and ran a chkdsk and an anti-virus scan on the noteb... 2 Feb 2010 22:23
Fixing a Maxent MX-26x3 LCD TV
I have a non-working Maxent MX26X3 LCD TV/monitor. Immediately upon powerup, it will generate anomalous vertical multi-colored lines throughout the entire screen with a blue background. I've read about two known solutions, and I think both are related to one root cause. On FixYa, people have reported favor... 27 Jan 2010 03:46
DTV h10 over the air TV
I have a old H10 Direct TV box i got cheap that has a ATSC tuner in it. I would like to use it as a digital converter box, but its set up to only work with DTV subscription. I don't want DTV, just use the tuner for OTA free tv which is fair use. Is there any way to hot wire this box to make the OTA tuner function... 25 Jan 2010 13:57
Agilent Infiniium 54845A service disk/lithium battery
Hello all, I am looking for the 54845A service disk which is mentioned in the service manual and is part of the 54845-68803 service kit. Antenna interaction question
"Michael A. Terrell" Two antenna used for receiving shouldn't affect each other. Do you have a TV field strength meter available? You should be able to compare the signals from both antennas. ** What signals ? Certainly NOT very brief, very weak data bursts on 72 MHz narrowband AM. Only if... 2 Feb 2010 16:31
Vcr drum replacement Panasonic NV-HV61
Hi all. I was helping a friend replacing his video drum on a Panasonic NV-HV61 vhs player. This because it hardly played tapes in SP mode (picture full of white sparks) but EP recording went fine.
