If your Cisco router isn't counting data, you could see if DD-WRT is supported by your model. http://www.dd-wrt.com/ I use it on a LinkSYS (post Cisco buyout) and it gives me a monthly count that ends up being a bit higher than what my ISP (Comcast) reports that I use.
