"telnet pop.telus.net 110" is the command you should try. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

Is it supposed to be from a certain directory? Thanks Brian

I've never had to do that on any machine I've ever configured. Telnet has been include on all Windows versions since 2000 without my explicitly including it. I looked it up for Windows 7, though, and I see that what you say is true. I didn't realize it and I hadn't checked my own Windows 7 system because I hadn't needed telnet. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

(Home Premium that is - may be the "higher" versions have it enabled by default...)
