Maybe your firewall is blocking port 110? Are you connecting to a mail server that is NOT the one supplied by your ISP?

I can always go over with this one more time. I tend to think it is one of my fireswalls as well - but I de-activated windows defender, the router firewall, etc (I still haven't even installed Norton). How can I check out if it is some firewall that I don't know about or haven't properly de-activated? Thanks Brian
