From: Roger Mills on 5 Jan 2010 17:14 Can anyone please tell me where I can find a definitive spec of the type of memory card used by an S2 phone? I can't find any reference to it in the handbook - other than an instruction to "insert the memory card"! It's clearly a micro-SD card of some sort - but what max capacity? I'm sure that someone here has talked about a 4GB card - but I can't find any 4GB cards which are SD as opposed to SDHC - and the logo next to the memory slot on the phone is only bog-standard micro-SD. On one of the websites selling these cards, it says to check for SDHC compatibility by looking for an SDHC logo on the device with which it will be used. There ain't one on my phone - only a micro-SD logo - so I wonder whether I'm limited to 2GB. A definitive statement from someone with personal experience of fitting a memory card to an S2 would be appreciated. -- Cheers, Roger ______ Email address maintained for newsgroup use only, and not regularly monitored.. Assuming it *is* SDHC compatible, why only 4GB, since there are micro-SDHC cards with at least twice that capacity? Won't an 8GB card work with the phone? -- Cheers, Roger ______ Email address maintained for newsgroup use only, and not regularly monitored.. Messages sent to it may not be read for several weeks.
