Yes Asterisk will dial a number, wait then play the three digit extension.

But, your mobile phone will store a pause and the additional digits in its
dial memory (I have yet to see one that didn't) as will a DECT or most fixed-line phones

I suppose its a bit messy if you just want to quote it to somebody but once its stored in
your phone you forget there's an ext no.

Nice to here you have had success with the Gateway, ours has been running continuously
for over 6 months now.

My son's is the same FW. I am told, on average it turns off twice a day. Usually happens when its just idle.

selection :
manufacturer - SkypePhone AMOI
model - Auto detect

Model : Amoi WP-S2
IMEI
Firmware : S2_V14.8_UK

It would be nice if others could check theirs, see if we can get evidence that a cure exists with a later FW,
then demand a reflash from 3. What do you think?

This may be a signal strength related, I am in a fringe area with a much
better signal upstairs, I only use the S2 as a standby/occasional modem and
it used to cut off regularly. It has been lying upstairs for a few weeks
now, (in the good signal area), but always switched on, and regularly
charged, and it hasn't cut off for weeks.

That would technically make a lot of sense, I hadn't thought of that.

Is that because lower signal = phone has to do more work = more likely
to trigger a bug in the software/hardware [not really much of an excuse]
or is it something else you're thinking of?
