Oracle 11g, patch 124861-18 and SUN Studio pkg Hi, To install the patch 124861-18 for oracle 11g, SUN studio pkg is a pre- requisite. Since we don't need SUN studio to function, how to disable it for security after it has been installed or any better way to go about applying the patch 12486-18? Anonymous FTP sessions slowly accumulate I'm running an anonymous FTP server using the stock in.ftpd on Solaris 10. It works nicely, except that an idle session occasionally remains. Anyone have a date for the next OpenSolaris ? I believe the next release will be out in December, but does anyone have a date? I was thinking of buying my wife a laptop for her birthday (12th Dec) and was wondering if it would be out by then, in which case I'd wait and install it. Otherwise I'll put 06/2009 on it.
