Dear Sir,

The poor spring weather has meant that sightings have been somewhat
thin, but this morning on the 0611, I was able to identify from its
chirp and plumage, a black-backed iPad near Milton Keynes. Is this a
first? Alas, I could not spot its mate, but I'm sure it must have one
lurking in the bushes.

Yours,
Traveller

Black-backed?

Surely that's either a black-crested iPad http://j.mp/c40AuB or it's one
that's showing its winter plumage early?

Spotted a leather-jacket iPad today - a first for for me of any variety
outside of the poor specimens found tethered in shops.

There's a leather-jacketeted one that follows me about. It's quite sweet,
really.
