From: siljaline on 14 Mar 2010 16:04 @Autumn - I got your note via my Blog, thanks, appreciate the other stuff, too. The email that you said you sent I never got, I do not have a current email on you. *You would have to leave me yours with another comment via my Blog.* Generally *any* ASAP Board is fully qualified to do HJT Logs. Full list less some that are not ASAP Members are listed here > <http://asap.maddoktor2.com/> Since I no longer do HJT Logs for fun, I could not say which is better than the other or which offer faster turnaround with the least amount of hassle (read: Flaming Hoops). If I point to one, but that would be openly bias on my part so I won't. Blog me again with a working email addy and we can take this offline. Are you aware of the reason for Aumha being excluded from ASAP? Have I got this wrong, maybe? -- Dave

I would think, however, that if he wanted that information disseminated widely, he would do it. > Please will you explain why Aumha.net is *not* one of the firms > listed as an ASAP member when, in fact, most folk visit Aumha > solely to have their HJT logs examined and malware eradicated. > > Are you aware of the reason for Aumha being excluded from ASAP? > > Have I got this wrong, maybe? Your whole post is wrong in so many ways, I cannot even begin to list them. Oh, and why are you trolling this group now? Why would you think that? Maybe he will explain personally (I'm not holding my breath though!) >> Please will you explain why Aumha.net is *not* one of the firms >> listed as an ASAP member when, in fact, most folk visit Aumha >> solely to have their HJT logs examined and malware eradicated. >> >> Are you aware of the reason for Aumha being excluded from ASAP? >> >> Have I got this wrong, maybe? > > Your whole post is wrong in so many ways, I cannot even begin to list them. Oh dear! :-( How will I ever learn if folk do not help me understand the (apparent) error of my ways? > Oh, and why are you trolling this group now? Run out of fish elsewhere? I'm not trolling at all. I'm trying to obtain the answer to what *I* feel is a straight-forward question. Do *you* know *why* Aumha is not a member of the Alliance of Security Analysis Professionals? Does Aumha fail, in some way, to meet the requisite standards of membership? Many of the naive and gullible people who post on the Microsoft newsgroups end up at Aumha - a leading light of same being Mr Robear Dyer (AKA PABear) who is a prolific poster in reply to queries on many of the Microsoft newsgroups. I just cannot help smelling something fishy here. -- Dave
