But I could keep on waiting and waiting for ever. And there will be bugs
in the early 4.0, won't there.

Ah, you're right. And if history is an indicator, you'll be able to
apply the 4.0 software to a 3GS when you (or it) are ready...

I just got overenthusiastic because I can't wait to replace my 3G with a
faster phone with more capacity. I'm feelin' the squeeze.

I just hope it gets jailbroken relatively quickly.

Well, I have a 32Gb 3GS and -i'm- feeling the squeeze. Really miss the
iPod Photo's 60Gb ability to just put all the music I have onto it.
Quite often find myself wanting a particular piece I've not put on, and
I'm terrible at keeping up to date with playlists etc.

If the upgrade fees are reasonable, I'd probably go for a 64Gb one
should such a model appear.

Yep, I have the same problem. I really need to swap out some music, but
I won't remember until I go to play something and think I'm a bit bored
of what's on there and I want something new.

I shall be badly disappointed if there isn't a 64GB model.
