Hi. I own a cell phone but I'm home most of the time so I don't really
use it and I rarely have it on. It's a prepaid minute phone and it's not
that great. It's really only for emergencies.

I have a friend who uses her cell phone a lot, including texting. I'm
just wondering if there is a program or website that would allow me to
exchange text messages with her, via the Internet, without using my
cell phone.

Thanks.

smsPup allows you free sms messages. you pay for them by getting
website urls to view (not that you have to actually do more then go
click to them)
