Yea PC is getting ridiculous. Here in Canada the airport security was
letting Muslim women in burqua's pass without even checking their
faces. For all they know it could be a man or crazy Muslim with a
bunch of bombs strapped under their layers.

Other dumb examples Sikh sues employer for making him wear a hard hat
at a construction site forcing him to take off his turban.

And yet another Sikh one; here they are allowed to carry their
ceremonial daggers even into schools. Their has been several incidents
of them using them for unceremonious things ie violence.

I'm all for freedoms but common sense should prevail and it isn't.

The silence is deafening, as you might expect. You won't get a
reasoned response to your query - the paper tigers here want both to
have their constitution and to eat it.

Here's a piece by a guy who thinks a little before he opens his mouth:

Don't know it to be true but I saw a person holding a sign at the landmark
status meeting yesterday. It stated that "Islam builds Mosques at the sites
of their conquests and victories". I would hope that someone in the know
might comment on this.

It's not constitutional at all--the federal government isn't banning
anything. It's a zoning issue, and strictly local. New York can do
whatever it wants, and commonly do.

I heard that Broadway show from the White House. While the country
suffers, from a President who'd pledged not to rest, he imports
Broadway to perform in his court whilst he fetes and feasts--a truly
terrible display.

And Friedman gets his entire rationale entirely wrong. Where he
closes on the Melting-Pot miracle, he's spent his entire piece
describing not assimilation but Balkanization, the anti-melting pot.

Is it true that "Islam builds Mosques at the sites of their conquests
and victories"? Absolutely true. The entire thing is intended to be a
total slap in the face for all free Americans. So far the socialists
in the government seem to be supporting them fully, too.

Damn it, it is absolutely time to do a FULL HOUSE CLEANING of the
federal government, and any state/local governments who have forgotten
that this is America. That includes the Poopsident, Mr. Obama.
