From: JohnB on 16 May 2010 08:13 I am using Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 in OS10.5.8 on VirginMedia cable to access my ntlworld.com email. Recently I got a couple of insurance quotes and documents from an insurance company. They sent them in HTML. If I access my mail on the virginmedia webmail or via mail2web then they are both there and readable. However, they have not appeared in the T'bird inbox. So does T'bird have some filter that blocks HTML eMail coming through ? If so can I turn it off ? Or is there another likely cause for this ? Thanks for any input -- JohnB

Sometimes mails from suppliers containg graphics from a central server - these are blocked with spacers and a message offering to download them - that works. Sorry I can't help with V2 but have a look in Tools> Account Settings. -- duncank
