I'll be doing this (with Superduper though I think and a regular
full-disk incremental backup) again as soon as I juggle some external
disk space.

Talking of which, Time Machine has only backed up 14.5GB of the 190GB so
far in six hours. Amusingly, the size of the entire TM folder on the
external 1TB drive is showing 6.1TB.

Belt and braces - think I'll be doing both methods.

Fonts corrupt, but an intermittent font corrupts absolutely. Out damn
dingbat!
