Awww! I thought for a moment the app was idiot proof and with no learning curve. (Famous last words before the system fails to ever boot again.) I guess it will have to be done more slowly. Cloned system partition and all that careful but boring stuff. Jeeze, I must be getting lazy.

I wouldn't get stressed about uvnc, I was just saying tight is well tight, and that video driver is well cool. Like the last bug I had probs with was running uvnc on Windows 2008 x64, there was a kludge to send ctrl alt delete's which didn't work. Now you might ask why I wasn't using RDP on Win 2008... no I am not stupid, it was a client server thingy which used VNC, actually I can't remember if tight worked on x64 now or then, probably not, I think the uvnc x64 was beta anyways, so I'm probably being unfair, but cat's are like that. VNC is kinda more useful for Win 2000 and XP home and such I don't know if you have tried the new remote desktop client version 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969084 Man this rocks, now you can share vista desktops and the don't look like a dogs dinner 'Hurrah!' and it does a lot more stuff I haven't had time to read yet. I've been busy winding up the hummingturd. -- Pooh the cat

Now listen up, old chap, my home XP had a near death experience a month ago due to some driver in a silly little utlity. It would have been a serious tragedy of a major order for a trustworthy old system, etc, etc. Blah. > Like the last bug I had probs with was running uvnc on Windows 2008 > x64, there was a kludge to send ctrl alt delete's which didn't work. > Now you might ask why I wasn't using RDP on Win 2008... no I am not > stupid, it was a client server thingy which used VNC, actually I can't > remember if tight worked on x64 now or then, probably not, I think the > uvnc x64 was beta anyways, so I'm probably being unfair, but cat's are > like that. > > VNC is kinda more useful for Win 2000 and XP home and such > > I don't know if you have tried the new remote desktop client version 7 > > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969084 Tried it? I haven't heard of it! I'm with you on the bit about "haven't had time to read it yet". That's for sure. (Sad sound of violins.) >I've been busy winding up the hummingturd. Maybe there should be a competition, open to all entrants, to get some normality into him before Christmas. |
