I try it from time to time, but it always seems to have a bug.

I like http://www.tightvnc.com/

use it with http://www.demoforge.com/dfmirage.htm video driver mirroring
technology

It rocks, and comes close to RDP, seriously good now.

Does file transfer as well.

I use it almost every day for 2 years.
It works well for me.

TightVNC has advantage it exists for multiple platform,
UltraVNC is for Windows only.

All RealVNC, TightVNC and UltraVNC are interoperable,
using VNC protocol. Client from any package can connect
to server from any other package.

Every implementation has it speciality,
but always is granting falling down
to common operation modes.

Not sure if TightVNC, with UltraVNC you can connect
with any browser supporting java.

I had in mind UltraVNC, I could be confusing previously.

I use it every working day pretty much. We have facilities in 12
counties. Three thumbs up!!!

I use v1.0.2, circa 2006. It's very stable on XP, where v1.0.5 was
not. I lost interest in updating after that, as v1.0.2 never fails me.

Thanks s|b for the link. I think that I discovered an easy way to work
on friends and relatives PCs via Single Click:

http://www.uvnc.com/addons/singleclick.html

Has anyone tried the newest version with XP?
