I had that happen once when I first upgraded the version 2 with one
binary group. I deleted that group and then resubscribed and it hasn't
happened since.

I've recently upgraded to Unison 2 and most of the really annoying
problems I'd encountered in Unison 1.8 went away. Specifically the
lockups.
