OK, so I found this and this and this here:

http://androidcommunity.com/forums/members/bearbottoms-71403.html

and dat there:

http://moourl.com/LotsaBearBottoms

Sorry, I want definitive, absolute proof that the Bear Bottoms
mentioned in all those links and lives in Southern Louisiana is the
Bear Bottoms who posts here and lives in Southern Louisiana. Because
they post and talk alike means nothing to me.

There are thousands of Bear Bottoms in Southern Louisiana, Gordon. I
bet. You do all the work, I'll stay safe, head buried into the sand.

Otherwise, you're a liar like Ari.

Btw, don't type too fast, things fly right by me thousands a time a
year.

I also invoke the Secret Squirrel for things that are far too
sophisticated for me to imagine much less understand.

Reports
Generate brief or detailed reports for the ancestors or descendants of
an individual.

* Multiple styles of reports are currently available by default.
Users can also create their own custom styles.
* Eight output formats are supported by GRAMPS: PDF, AbiWord,
KWord, OpenOffice Writer, HTML, Rich Text Format (RTF), Latex, and plain
text.
* Custom reports can be created by advanced users under the
"plugin" system which allows the sharing of custom report styles between
users.
* Book report allows the user to collect a variety of reports in a
single document, which in turn is easier to distribute.

Charts and Graphs - Create graphical Ancestor and Descendent charts in
several formats.
An example chart
An example chart

* Box and Fan charts are available, see eg here.

I'm kind of interested in trying this but I don't think the above includes
all of the software dependencies that are needed for a Windows computer. It
looks like you need to install the following first:

Python 2.5.4 or later
GTK+ 2.12.9 or later
pygtk 2.12.1 or later
pygobject 2.12.3 or later
pycairo 1.2.6 or later
Graphviz (Optional)
GhostScript (Optional)

If you have a web server running, I kind of like this:
http://www.phpgedview.net/

The only problem I see with this project is that one (or some) of the
developers have left because of Sourceforge and what is being forced on the
developers because of export controls to certain countries.

I believe this has now been resolved
