Must you now stoop to mistating what I write?
Are you so threatened by my ability to use the camera effectively?
They are "limitations" to you, not to me.

Indeed. Some will have the ability to be able to use a given camera
effectively. Others will not. Just as there are some who get worse
results with a dSLR than they get with a compact digital camera.

Reminds me of an old girlfriend who managed to spin out my
heavily-modified Saab Turbo almost immediately after getting behind the
wheel. I knew how to drive such a high performance car. She did not.
Speaks to the drivers, not the car. Just as in cameras.

Accept and embrace your own abilities, limitations, and tastes,
and don't presume to project them onto others.

Not mis-stating, John, simply saying how it comes across to me. May not
be how you intended it, of course.

David

As I said before, from years of experience of using that class of camera,
and knowing its limitations.

Cheers,
David

What other cameras may or may not do is irrelevant.
You do NOT know my camera's limitations because you've NEVER used it.
You likewise do NOT know my abilities and limitations.
All you DO know are your own abilities and limitations.

I know how to properly drive a race car. (I have a competition
license.) I'm guessing you do not. That's no comment on the race car.
That's not even a comment on you. It just means you don't currently
have the ability to properly drive a race car, not that you couldn't
acquire that capability if you had the desire and opportunity.

It's unfortunate that you don't currently have the ability use certain
cameras effectively, but that doesn't mean others have the same
limitations, or that you couldn't learn how to use them effectively if
you have the desire and opportunity.

I'm not trying to tell you what you can and cannot do with your camera.
Why are you so arrogant and rude as to try to tell me what I can and
cannot do with my camera even though you've never used the camera and
have never seen how I use it?
