The two most common things that affect logons at the console are misconfigured
DNS and very large profile data sets.

Please confirm that *every* nic in your LAN points to the IP of the SBS for
DNS, and that the identity connecting at the console dosen't have a large
profile.

Also, what AV are you using on that SBS, and what are the real time scan
settings?

Have you tried running the BPA to see if anything jumps out as a possible
cause?

A bit old thread (2005) and I did uninstall APC Powerchute eralier, so it's
not the same issue:

The Eventviewer doesn't give me any feedback either... about problem to
start anu services.
