my word files are saving as read-only
my word files are saving as read-only and I want them fully editable. I think this happened after I had a crash with an open word file. please advise ... 2 Feb 2010 17:38

Some Windows sounds replaced by pc speaker beep
This has happened before but seemed to fix itself but it has started again. The sounds made when a notification window or an information popup window happen have been replace by a pc speaker beep. (Can't remember what the sounds were, actually.) All the sounds in "Sounds and audio properties" are there and working.... 2 Feb 2010 17:38

Camcorder Problem
Hi, My Canon camcorder will not accept cassette tape. I insert cassette, close lid......mechanism retracts I get a couple of bleeps ,the cassette is then pushed back out ? Battery pack all OK. Help - Strange video problem
WinXP-Pro/SP3. I use two monitors. Everything was working fine, until I recycled the machine on/off. Now, only one, the primary monitor, outputs video.
