Hi.

Could someone please post which Apple store the original poster had
such trouble with?

I am looking to purchase an Apple iMac i7 core and as I have been
solely using Windoze for 14 years, was looking to use Apple's training
sessions to bring me up to speed on Mac machines.

I live in Crawley. co my nearest store is the new one in Brighton.

Regards - David

You're also pretty handy to London (handy as in expensive but quick) so
you could try the Regent Street store. I've never tried the 'one to one'
thing, but they're extremely friendly in every other way.

You could try

http://www.itsabouttimeproducts.com/LearntheSwitchtoMac

I think it will run on a windows machine and give you some idea about the
changes.

I've visited the Liverpool Apple Store, which was staffed by extremely
helpful and knowledgeable people. I asked 'em the sort of questions
you'd expect me to ask, and I got sensible answers and helpful
suggestions - that's me telling you.

I say `people', but it was mostly attractive young women on the staff as
far as I recall, which is an added bonus if you ask me. And you can
call 'em that to their face (getting a nice warm smile back) when you're
40 something and out with your wife.

Rowland.
