I'm trying to start a daemon for Maple v 14, but when I try to run it,
the system complains that the file doesn't exist. What's up?

westk[@]goshen.acu.edu]:/usr/local/Maple_Network_Tools/FLEXlm/11.7:> ls -lh
total 2.8M
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root staff 6 2010-05-13 16:04 lmcksum -> lmutil
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root staff 6 2010-05-13 16:04 lmdiag -> lmutil

The old version, Maple 13, works (minus the errors, which is because
I've moved the license file):

What arch do you have? If it's amd64 and your binary is for i386 try
installing libc6-i386 package.
If it don't help try to run "strace ./lmgrd" (or ltrace) it can make
more clear which file doesn't exist.

Why sudo when lmgrd is world executable?

An LD_PATH issue?
