As above, really. Someone told me something earlier and I need to
remember it.

Things is what I use. OmniFocus is also good, but too complex for my
needs. Things is more simple.

Well, apart from the Calendar and Alarm app, any third-party app will be one
that sends push notifications for alerts (due to limited usability of TP apps
when the iPhone is asleep - I /think/ that's the case anyway).

I have been using NotifyMe on and off. Seems fine. Just a basic reminder app.
Does what it says on the tin. You get on-screen pop-ups (as with a text
message) and can snooze reminders. You can also manage (create/delete/etc)
reminders from the web.

Cheers ... Mark

things is excellent - works with ical and synchs with your mac. It has a
nice, uncluttered interface.

I found the calendar app does a cool thing in that you can get more
than one alert for an event. Things like dentist appointments I set a
day before and an hour before.
