(.so.59) Let me guess, you've installed a binary package that has libx264.so.59 as a dependency, which shows as an error when you try to start the program .. Usually in such a case, the pre-packaged dependencies will be available from the same site that hosts this program you downloaded and installed. I have a x264 package for Slackware 12.2 (http://connie.slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/x264/pkg/12.2/) but unfortunately for you its library version is already at "67" instead of "59". Eric
