For me, kind is always visible. Is that a default, or does VO collect
the file info via some sort of VO specific object?

ie, what Apple calls "Kind". Except that "Folder" is not necessarily at
the top.

The right-click thing I just guessed, and hoped that what worked in
iTunes would also work here. It did :-)

I suppose we all know about Command-Shift-G in Open/Save sheets?
